Quite true. One thing I noticed, both offline and online, is that the most strident flubro/troll/dittoheads that are claiming the Wuhan virus is a hoax are mostly worried about the stock market and their investments.
My view is, what is the use of money if you and/or your lovedones are dead?

Everything changes going forward. The Cruise industry just offerred up some of its boats to the President. My business changes. SARS and Corona are just symptoms of the times. A civilization in decay.
Virus may be killing 1 to 7 percent of the people tested, but that is only 1 to 7 perceng of the people who were so sick they came in for testing, not 1 to 7 percent of the whole population.
So you and your loved ones dead may he an exaggeration.
Are we going to quarantine, jail the whole population for two years because a disease is going to kill less than 1 percent of the people sickened enough to go to the hospital?
