I’m getting that from Mark too.
I’m having a hard time understanding how there are people everywhere who continue to believe that this entire scenario is fake.
Some of those people are telling me that I’m crazy for thinking this is serious.
And maybe they’re right, I don’t even know!
There is a lot of misinformation out there, both overstating the problem and understating it.
Public officials have pivoted back and forth between trying not to cause panic and then trying to get people to change their behavior.
That has caused a lot of confusion.
Folks here have been studying and debating all aspects of this for several weeks, but most people out there have not.
Not fake, just overblown. There are common sense measures that can be taken without shutting everything down.
For example, the local Republican Party did not cancel the annual Lincoln Day Dinner. They had fewer people at each table, hand sanitizer within reach, and told people not to come in contact with each other (there’s usually a lot of hugging at these events).
A lot of people like that on this site. It is amazing how nasty they get.
Just wait until this progresses
