I know, right? A friend of mine on FB yesterday said it's going to be just like after 9/11, everyone coming together and being nice to each other. Not at all the vibe I've been getting. Quite the opposite.

I agree, I have seen that.

You know I am just a regular joe trying to make sense of what’s going on. I get most of my info here, I’m avoiding all other news outlets, especially TV, for my own sanity.

And in my uneducated opinion, this appears real to me. I didn’t believe things at first, but then large scale national events began to mesh with the things I had read, and I had to conclude something extraordinary is happening.
