The Chinese Communist Party has ramped up its propaganda efforts to control the narrative surrounding the novel coronavirus—by rejecting criticism and painting a picture that Beijing is effectively handling the outbreak.
The regime’s propaganda has gone through several phases: first ignoring the severity of the outbreak, then creating positive coverage, and now, blaming the United States.
Internal government documents obtained by The Epoch Times have highlighted how the regime bungled its data tracking and censored discussions of the outbreak, fueling the virus’s spread.
High-ranking communist authorities have pushed a handful of talking points to deflect blame, including that the origin of the virus isn’t clear and may have come from the United States—a conspiracy recently pushed by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian.
The virus first emerged in the central Chinese city of Wuhan in December 2019.
Zhao wrote on Twitter on March 12, “When did patient zero begin in US? How many people are infected? What are the names of the hospitals? It might be US army [sic] who brought the epidemic to Wuhan. Be transparent! Make public your data! US owe [sic] us an explanation!”
A February opinion article by state-run Global Times claimed that “so far, even the scientific world has no conclusion where the virus came from.”

Call their bluff...no Chinese imports that would probably be contaminated in some form anyway.
You would think they would have developed a vaccine first before they released it on their own people.Maybe they did and that is why the number of cases in China and deaths are insignificant compared to the total population.

Shove it right back in their faces. The whole world should stop calling it the COVID-19 virus. Call it the Wuhan virus.
(I would actually prefer calling it the ‘Chinese Communist Wuhan virus’, but that might be a bit much.)

I don’t have a dog but would you feed your dog food made in China? My guess is at least half of Americans would say no. Then why are they consuming medicine made there?
The virus originated 300 yards from a level four biosafety lab, only a short walk. This virus has contaminated the world and had done so in record time. Two Chinese researchers have been jailed for selling lab animals to the Wuhan black market.
Shortly after the outbreak the Chinese government instituted new safety protocols on their biolabs. I also heard from a podcast that a Chinese researcher working on a spliced Coronavirus strain may have taken her research back to Wuhan.
The Chinese are at best guilty of gross negligence in thousands of deaths worldwide. And they want to blame the United States. They are pathetic.
the timing is no accident. we are about to shut down much of our economy for some time. They may feel this is the best time they will ever have to be more belligerent. also, they doubtless will do everything possible to make sure the faction behind biden gets elected.
I expect more hostile talk from them and maybe some hostile moves. dangerous time if they think they can get away with it.

Apparently, some Taiwanese and Japanese doctors are backing blame of the US, saying that our most recently shuttered facility in HI was the original source, and that two Japanese came home sick with it in September. Apparently, we’ve been blaming our cardiopulmonary deaths on vaping when it’s actually COVID.
Now, why would a communist nation want to or try to kill off an aging population that is only a drain on the state and is no longer productive for the state? Hmmm, I can’t think of any reason...
I doubt the CCP really cares about losing 3200 people. Ask the GIs and Marines who fought in Korea about the concern Chinese commanders had for the lives of their troops. More Chinese died during and after Tianneman Sq than in Wuhan.
