It isn’t even a major crisis, it’s a manufactured media crisis. There were 68 people murdered in Chicago in Jan and Feb 2020, there are all of 38 dead in the USA, and all but 16 were in one nursing home in Washington state.
Another thought, I don’t need TP although I prefer to go that way, having grown up on a cattle ranch I am quite ok with crapping in the pasture and using grass, leaves, etc. I can go native.

Are you following what's happening in Italy?
What magical American property do you think will prevent this from happening here?

A lot of big investors are saying that the virus is already on the decline in China and may have only a 30 window left in the U.S. Watch today's stock markets to see if they invest on this sentiment.
If that is the case, the COVID-19 scare will be over shortly.

If fears are never validated, then fears usually fade away.
I hope that happens with my fear, ‘cuz it’s been pretty heavy lately.

SARS (2003, China) and MERS )2012, Saudi Arabia) are both Coronaviruses. MERS was originally called Coronavirus-2012. Both had FAR higher fatality rates (11% and 37% respectively)... and not once was anything banned or cancelled or restricted... and not once since has anyone complained about those lacks of “measures”. The regular flu STILL has killed far more people in 2020, and STILL does not get a peep in the press.

Coronavirus: 138,937 cases and 5,111 deaths in the world of 7.53 billion...7,530,000,000 people.

I thought it was 40 or so, and it’s definitely an over reaction to that, but that isn’t really what’s driving people, I think,
It’s not fear of dying, it’s fear of catching it and giving it to loved ones, and it’s also a fear of supply chain interruption, and maybe even some societal collapse type of fear.
The thing does not have to have a high death rate in order to cause what is now occurring IMO.

Tell that to Iran’s leadership, or Nothern Italy. They’ve lowered the triage age to 60.

First step is to hang all the CEOs and boards who sold our supply chain to the Chinese, cheap, over the last 40 years. Something slower and more painful.
And Bill Clinton ALSO sold them MIRV guidance technology.

Here’s the issue. The people who need to quarantine to protect themselves are older people. They stand the chance of dying. Will they do it? No because they are stubborn. So kids can’t go to school because old people (like me) won’t shelter in place and take precautions.

The Philippines is totally north of the equator and yes its hot and humid there but it also has a lot of interaction with mainland Chinese
still its rate of infection per million is one of the lowest on the charts
When this thing started escaping China Singapore had about 100 infections now its 200 and of course Singapore is loaded with Chinese as well And crowded as can be.
The same for Hongkong

Investors get their information from epidemiologists. Based on market performance so far this morning, no one is sold on the idea that the COVID-19 scare is over (DOW up only 1,032 at this moment).
If investors believed the scare was over, the market would be up much, much more.
That said, the day is young.
