The county has 37 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, by far the highest of any Bay Area county.
The patient was a woman in her 60s with chronic health conditions and had been hospitalized for a respiratory illness for several weeks. She was confirmed as being infected with coronavirus on Feb. 28 after more than a week of hospitalization.
