Terrifying video footage shows the moment a tower crane operator helplessly watches a Tennessee tornado spiral towards him as he's stuck over 300 feet in the air.
Kentucky man Jason Nash was working in a high tower crane in Nashville on early Tuesday when a tornado appeared and started to tear through the city.
Nash frantically recorded the moment he panicked as he was suspended 375 feet in the air in the crane cab as the winds began to roar and bright lights started to flash in the distance.

Not so safe.
Do they operate cranes in the middle of the night? How about when there’s severe storms in the area or a during a tornado warning?
Why is this in the Daily Mail? What’s wrong with U.S. media? Too busy making up crap about Trump to pay attention to what’s going on in our own country?
Because the U.S. news media is so pathetic they can’t even measure up to a tawdry UK tabloid.
Spot on!

I wonder how close it got.
UK Daily Mail pays cash money for videos.
His employer was negligent to the point of criminality in even having him up there in such conditions, its not as if the approaching storm was unknown. Theyre very fortunate he wasnt injured or killed. He should have been ordered down a good hour before the tornado even touched down.
Looked like about ten city blocks to me.
For later.

Spot on. He never should have been on the crane in that weather.
Take a look at NOAA weather reports before you start using a crane.
Any time you plan on using a crane, you should check the local NOAA weather reports first to see if theres a chance of a thunderstorm or other inclement weather. If theres even a slight chance thunder and lightning could be in your area, you should plan to either use the crane on a different day or work around the timing of the storm.

Couldn’t get it to open but then again nothing works right on that junk site.
“Yeah, doggie! Imma be on the teevee channel! Evil Kneival, eat yer heart out boy! Natty Ice on me!”
Pictures here but no video.
Pics but no video.
We don’t have a functioning media just a ministry of propaganda.
I remember about 25 years ago, during a severe storm offshore in the Gulf of Mexico.
A company refused to evacuate a crew from a drilling rig, instructing them to ride it out.
A local news outlet interviewed the foreman the next day. I’ve never seen such barely controlled rage. He and his crew were certain they would be killed overnight and in no uncertain terms he let his employer have it.
I didn’t blame him a bit.
Aren’t those guys supposed to be out of those cranes after sundown to prevent accidents from happening at all?
