Chris Matthews wife ran for a democrat office in 2016 and lost. Trump is winning despite everything the media and the rest of the democrats has thrown at him. Chris Matthews is too old and MSNBC is looking for someone much younger at much lower pay. What is known about this case I bet was known for years with others just like all the other media personalities we have seen kicked aside.
No one likes working with - or even being in the general vicinity of - jerks.
But the implication here (i.e., what Social Justice Warriors are constantly implying should happen) is that some legislative or judicial action should be taken here to "protect" young, attractive women. Yes: additional measures (in addition to those already in place). Or at least some societal action, like mass-shaming on social media, etc.
The obvious implication is that this little "episode" somehow deserves to be seriously discussed in forums, that a "national conversation" should be conducted on the important issue of "innappropriate flirting."
BTW: In what way was this flirting "inappropriate?" I'll grant you that it was flirting (or at least some verbal posturing of a supposed alpha male trying to "mark" his terrain and/or establish dominance). But in what way was it "inappropriate?" What would have been "appropriate" flirting in this context? (Labelling it "inappropriate" implies that there is a conceivable form of "appropriate" flirting that Chris Matthews could have indulged in here.)

Sucks that our culture has become so damn absurd that people get bent over flirting.
If she has reached the age of 30 and hasn’t managed to figure out how to do some innocent flirting, then either she is a lesbian or a bitter woman.
She should have jokingly flirted back to him, or been ladylike and turn him down gently.
She is a product of our communist university system....indoctrinated to hate....hate men, hate white men and hate this nation.
Many young women are just looking for a reason to be offended....just like blacks and muslims.
