Maybe she means the Chicoms are not willing to spend money on treatment, medicine, or doctors.
Maybe she means that is the motive she can understand for the continuity of the lies they have endured for decades.
My suspicion is the Chicoms are all about power, as well as wealth.
In Chinese history the willingness to sacrifice lots of lives to stay in power is common.
In fact, not just Chinese history, world history.
The U.S. is an extreme aberration in History.
We live in a golden age.
