1000 chinese there
wife works in hospital with many coming in to hospital from wuhan with pneumonia (poster note - this seems to indicate glass lung condition which is a primary symptom and usually fatal)

Bring Out Your Dead

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
If a quarantine saves just one child's life, it's worth it.

His one comment with regard to the deleted firmen’s post and the county health director’s official comments in the newspaper is provable. The director said something like not to trust stuff on the internet, but just stuff that the health department and the CDC tell you!

I have done consulting there at Kaleida in Buffalo .
This is awful news and
the Kaleida and CDC and county health dept let these Chinese UB students loose to infect the city and UB .

I remember this guy. His “PhD” is from an online diploma mill IIRC and his master’s in biology that he is working on is through Harvard’s Extension School.
Still, I thought this interview with the husband of the hospital worker in the Buffalo area was pretty interesting and worthwhile.

He is correct about University of Buffalo, Kaleida Health, Town of Tonawanda, DeGraff hospital, other local references.
