Sorry, she’s a good candidate but doesn’t have a chance in that district. I know because we’ve been gerrymandered into that district so we can’t elect Republicans in our former Congressional district.

It really needs to happen. The cities need to try SOMETHING ELSE. Well, NYC needs to go back to what it was doing until it elected that communist. But look at these places that haven’t had an R mayor for decades, and they’re falling apart. I mean COME ON, can’t the Rs at least go in and present a plan?

It can’t really be that hard. And, not for nothing, the R party really should try and keep our nation from falling apart. I mean the D party is interested in destroying it, so it would be nice if the Rs were for preserving it.

She won the Republican primary, yes, with over 4k votes. Unfortunately Mfume won the Democrat primary with 29k votes.
Democrat primary totals approximately 65k votes. Republican primary totals approximately 10k votes.
In 2018, Cummings won, 202k-56k (77%-21%).
In 2016, Cummings won, 238k-69k (75%-22%).
The special election between Klacik and Mfume will be held April 28, the same day as the Maryland presidential primary. The presidential race may be over by then or not. If not, I would expect fairly heavy Democrat turnout.
Mr Trump could well garner up to 40% of the AA vote. And if those people vote for Trump, they might also follow down ticket with a bit of a wave.
That's why the left knows they have to cheat and steal the vote in every inner city precinct.
It’s my district, and I’m definitely voting for her. I’m not 100% in agreement with her, but she’s far, far, far better than anyone on the other side. She would be a breath of fresh air.
