Another video of chemical disinfection in the streets of Wuhan #coronavirus
One of the people diagnosed with #coronavirus in the UK attended a conference near parliament last week along with about 250 other delegates
That’s right, folks! This crap could kill off nearly 40 percent of Americans who get it.
Prepare for self-isolation, and for you gun enthusiasts out there, BLOAT.
PING!
Bump
I agree, the numbers in China are probably far worse than we know but I’m not ready to run around with my hair on fire-even if I do ponder the possibilities.
I don’t believe we should ignore the possible threat either.
I’m not as afraid of the virus itself as I am the chaos that could gradually bubble up from a slow disruption of the global supply/manufacturing flow. There could be shortages of everything soon and almost everything is made in... China these days.
I am hoping and praying it will fizzle out as the weather warms up and before the JIT system is completely fubared.
In the meantime I am laying in supplies as I am able. Not buying MOPP suits and cartons of masks, just trying to have enough of what we already use on hand to hunker down for several months. If we need it for hunkering down, fine. If we don’t have to do that then great!I don’t have to go to the store for a while. :)
I do believe here it may not hit as hard. I have been reading about it off and on for weeks now. I have read that the east Asians are more genetically susceptible to this thing. Add nationwide pollution, malnutrition, weird food, archaic hygiene and superstitions in outlying areas and scattered, overtaxed and scarce healthcare to that. It is a combination that would definitely make sickness of any sort spread like wildfire.
In the end, whatever will be will be. God’s will-He’s in charge.
I’m worried about the swarms of locusts in Africa as well.
