Democrat presidential hopeful Joe Biden spoke in Hudson, New Hampshire, this week and told attendees that it is rational to prohibit 50 clips in a weapon. Ryan Saavedra quoted Biden maligning the absence of a rational policy that makes it illegal to have 20, 30, 40, 50 clips in a weapon. Also in Hudson, Biden intimated that gun owners who cling to their AR-15s and AK-47s are no match for the government. He made reference to gun owners who quote Thomas Jeffersons statement on the tension that exists between free men and the rulers who wish to subjugate them, a statement that includes Jeffersons observation that the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants.

“Biden intimated that gun owners who cling to their AR-15s and AK-47s are no match for the government”
The question is whether the government is a match for 120 million citizens armed with 500 million guns and tens of billions of rounds of ammo. I think not, and that is EXACTLY what the Founders intended.
Got to love Joe. Saying all that stupid stuff that other morons won’t.
Biden is just showing off his excellent knowledge of firearms. It would be a real neat trick to fit two clips into a weapon, and it would jam I suppose. I was never stupid enough to try to put two clips in a weapon at once. I’d love to see Biden get to 49, but he would be too busy firing his shot gun out the back door or something.
I say we don’t tell him...
Ok Dokee ya damn moonbat.
It may be rational but its unconstitutional and Americans wont comply with illegal laws, never have never will. Incidentally, lots of things may be rational. Rational basis is NOT, however, the standard. The standard is the Constitution.
50??? Well, yes, of course it is.
50 isn’t NEARLY enough!!!
Good thing I have 100 round drum magazines, then.
Get a shotgun.
I think he already had one but it's growing back.
Never leave a clip in your weapon, it will jam the magazine, if you somehow got the clip in there. An exception I can think of is the M1 Garand, but no more than one clip. Moon clips for revolvers, sometimes two half moons.
Joe:
Always wrong, never in doubt...
Exactly. I don’t think any gun has used a clip since the WWII vintage M1 Garand.....that was 3 generations ago.
I’m sure some lying dog faced pony soldiers had guns that used clips though.
Actually, he’s stupid and wrong.
People with AR-15s and AK-47s are no match for tanks and ground attack helicopters, but those are not the targets.
This from the quy that doesn’t even remember what gauge his shotgun are.
The Constitution does not say anybody can own a weapon; it says only certain people can own weapons.
Actually, it does.
A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
Bidens definition harkens back to the Dred Scott decision, where Justice Taney opined that black folks couldn’t be considered people because then you’d have to let them carry guns around.
About as rational as limiting a stapler refill to 50 staples.
I'm with you Joe, That's a heck of a lot of clips...
You said it better than I did, and more accurately.
“Common Sense Gun legislation” is communist for “Ban guns so we can murder people who disagree with communism!”
