It’s a good expose and predates his death.

Rhwetorical question: Would the times between the charged acts and the death with his daughter and friends be taken into account, with the religious oriented behavior?

So you would give Weinstein a pass and no one allowed to say anything if he starts going to Church and dies in 20 years later.

I don’t care if you get religion. Your acts are your acts and are fair game. You did what you did even if you repented before you died in a helicopter. Assuming he did.

He raped a woman. That is part of his legacy..as is all the rest. Good and bad

I concur that it was consensual until the “no” factor came into effect. KB wanted what the woman did not want to give.

No fan of Kobe, but the “rape” charge struck me as a money grab and 15 minutes of fame gambit.

There was something “there”. Read his “pr” statement.

Today, the truth, unlike in slander, is no defense when it comes to race and racism.

This applies to any liberal Black.

If we are going to be sad over Kobe's death let it be for his lost chances to truly repent and get born again.

Sure, but how do you know? What does “truly repent and get born again” mean?

“Born again”? How do you know he wasn’t born again and then judge him and his faith prior to his death one way or the other?

But yes, I hope that we all “truly repent and get born again” all the time, as often and as many times as it takes, 24/7.

The world is a harsh mistress and a harsher landlord.

I remember other tidbits. For example, her escapades right after the “rape.” They found semen from three men in her. Three other than Kobe. I suspect she was probably a “for hire.” Yes, when I first heard about it... I assumed he was guilty... but her actions and history persuaded me that there was a lot more going on. I also understand why he paid her off and made the statement he did. It’s almost impossible to defend against a false rape charge.

He raped her. He’s no hero. If he repented and turned his life around before he died, GREAT.

Still no hero or role model. He’s dead of his own doing, just like JFK Junior.

Taking unnecessary chances with other peoples lives as well as your own.

He was a rapist and a fool who killed people, who played BASKETBALL!

Am I supposed to care? Should you?

rhetorical question..would you say the same about Weinstein if he goes to Church..or Cosby getting religion in jail?

Would no one be allowed to talk about their terrible behavior??? Rhetorical, again.

If they repent and give themselves to Christ, its forgotten by Christ. If ones goal is to be Christ like, what do you have to gain re-destroying those that repent? Honestly, by your standards, St. Paul is a total scumbag right?. I mean he persecuted and killed Christians, yet God used him to bring people towards the light. Thats what you should focus on Rummy. Building up is hard. Tearing down is easy, Forgiving is hard, vengence is easy.

If I was a rich celebrity I would make people sign a document and record it before having sex. Not kidding. If it killed the mood..so what. Better than going to jail or having to pay someone off.

I believe in being responsible for your acts. ALL OF THEM.

If you are a drunken drug addicted theif who murders...and then suddenly gets religion...your acts are still your acts.

Oprahs BFF brought it up and Snoop Dog is ready to kill her. So I guess it’s not OK.

Yep! I've warned my son over and over to be very careful. I personally follow the Mike Pence rule after witnessing false accusations (of harassment) against coworkers. I was a witness to the falseness of the claims in two cases.

It's become an epidemic and sets a terrible precedent. Horrifying for real victims as they will be questioned when they need support. Heck, maybe Kobe did rape her... and I'm completly wrong ... but that's another side effect of witnessing a lot of false charges. I've seen so much deceit I've become jaded.

Well, now it appears right and wrong are not determined by any moral standard but by a person's status, wealth and constituency and whether that support group has the will and the power to kill you. Interesting.

Let God sort him out.

Since God created his soul--yes, let God sort him out.
By now Kobe HAS met his Maker...for good or for bad.

So what else is new in the human race?
The rich and powerful ALWAYS had all the control.

He was a Christian that believed correctly that Jesus died for his sins (alleged rape)
