how/why would you be taxed on where you seek and pay for medical treatment? Are you talking about income tax? Do you mean to say if he’s doing the show from NY?
I first discovered Rush in March 1991. I don't know how I could've gotten through the Clinton and Obama years without him!

I don’t know if every Mayo Clinic offers the same kinds of cancer (and other) treatments...
This wonderful show is almost over. I wonder when El Rushbo will be back on air. I need to plan each day around his show, if he’s on! :-)
New York taxing authorities (I presume income taxing but it may have dreamt up more than that) audited him for years after his move to Florida over how many days he spent in the state even though he’d long stopped ‘working’ in the state. I’m not sure, they may still be auditing him. Given the opportunity of Rush spending significant time in the state, even though for medical treatment instead of work, I can’t imagine those harpies wouldn’t spitefully harrass and try to tax him further.
I know that they telecommute and all of the resources that are available in the system are available to any patient. One of our major hospitals in the area is a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network.

He sounded so good, and I’ve wondered about the mysterious Kathryn. Seeing her and Rush together it looks like they truly love and respect each other. I’m so glad he’s finally found happiness with someone.
Loved hearing Rush talk about Kathryn’s part in Tuesday’s adventure. IIRC before marrying Rush she’d worked as a very successful event organizer. I think she met him at one of her events. She obviously still has her organizational skill set! For a lady to look that good under the circumstances Rush described today is impressive. She’s kept busy co-writing the Rush Revere books and overseeing their various merchandising activities. And now we need her skills to help keep him going. And to nudge him to stick with the medical program better than his omnidirectional persona would otherwise allow. If anyone can do it, she can.
I’m sure I heard him say the president said “down here” but it didn’t register with me. Then that raises the question of why they had shorts with them if they were in NYC. I’ll look for someone posting today’s program and I guess we’ll understand better. I called a friend on the West Coast and she said she was lost also - couldn’t follow where they were...so I’m glad I wasn’t alone....
