Why does it seem every person trump hires ends up hating him. Weird.

It is weird. But all the people who worked for him in earlier careers seemed to have loved him. Maybe because they don’t like his pressure to perform? Don’t like the threat of their own corruption and crimes being exposed? Don’t want the fedgov gravy train derailed? It seems like all those who wind up hating him are prima donnas.

We hear all about the malcontents — maybe the loyalists are many and keep their mouths shut?

I know. Remember when General Petraeus was fired by Obama. Didn’t see him smearing Obama in the ways people do President Trump.

All the Generals that got fired, not a vicious smear book writing campaign.

“Why does it seem every person trump hires ends up hating him.”

Not sure that every person ends up hating him. Currently, I think Pompeo appears to have the right chemistry, Dr Ben Carson is another, Pence has his back. Even AG Barr (while I wait for the indictments) is vastly superior to Sessions, who hasn’t badmouthed Trump despite his own incompetence as AG, and getting publicly called out by Trump. His key aid, Steven Miller, grad from elite Duke U, what a great pick. When McMaster moved on, he left on good terms, complimented and thanked Trump. Ex-WH counsel, Don McGahn - very recently said: “He goes through a decision-tree faster than anyone I’ve seen, to get where he thinks the situation is going to go,”...He thinks differently than anyone else I’ve represented.” McGahn was influential in help Trump get the right picks to the Supreme Court.

That aside, there are more than enough examples to counter what I wrote. But those people are showing their own shortcomings more than Trump, and their lack of character. Trump has a style that is a “black swan” in the DC power structure. He doesn’t go out and attack people, but the minute they slander and libel him, tell lies and distortions, he hits back fast and hard. They have never seen this before because that’s not the way its (supposed to be) played... after all its their turf and it’s supposed to be their rules. And it also goes beyond style, ... it goes to substance - he threatens their empires - he has not been bought off, and he is exposing who these people really are, their incestuous political/financial/business relationships. We are living one of the most unique Presidencies in our country’s history.

Why does it seem every person trump hires ends up hating him...

Probably because the thousands of other appointees and employees who are thrilled to be working with President Trump don't make the news. The ones we hear about are swamp dwellers, or in some cases other people with large egos who don't seem to be able to take working with somebody who has their own intelligent and strongly held beliefs about what to do.

People like John Bolton are very sensitive to not being considered the smartest guy in the room. They hate being ignored, or contradicted.
