Dear Freepers, I am asking for prayers for my dear Dad William who is dying of colon cancer. He lost his wife (and our Mom) Toni in April 2019 after 60 years of marriage. He served as an MP in Germany during the Korean War era. My brothers and I are going to miss him terribly. Thank you.
Oh....so sorry to hear this.
May God’s comforting arms wrap you in peace and bring comfort to your dear dad.
You and your family are in my prayers.
So very sorry. Prayers up!
Have the doctors given up?
Praying for your Dad and you and all your family. God be with you all now and always.
prayers
I am so sorry your Dad and your family are walking through this~ please know your dad and your family are in my prayers. Praying for peace and comfort through this and no pain for your dad! God bless!!
Prayers up for peace, comfort and strength.
The cancer has already spread to his Lymph nodes by the time he had a CT scan. Given his age and “sketchy” heart, the doctors didn’t think he could survive the potential chemo/radiation necessary to treat him successfully. Dad declined surgery.
Thank you so much, it is greatly appreciated.
You and your father are in my prayers.
God bless your dad, you and your family. You are n our prayers. I lost my mom and dad five weeks apart and it was a very tough time for my brother, me and my sister.
With our reading what you wrote. In freeper tradition. God bless your father.
Thank you! AFAIK, Dad is in no pain, but it’s SO hard to see him like this.
God may very well heal your dad but your dad may just want to be with his beautiful bride again. Praying for God’s will to be done.
That is hard, I’m so sorry. Thank you for your prayers.
Praying.
Im so sorry..prayers sent for you and your family
My prayers are more specific now.
I am praying so hard for your Dad because it really strikes home.
I know it’s tough right now but get on the phone and start pleading with clinical trial coordinators to get your Dad in for experimental treatment that was just announced as an accidental cure for ALL cancers.
Read this right now:
The “Accidental” CurePlatinum-based Treatment for Cancer: The Discovery of Cisplatin
https://www.cancer.gov/research/progress/discovery/cisplatin
Find the nearest clinical trial hospital near where you/your Dad live and start calling as soon as possible.
Don’t try to get the Doctors, they are too busy.
Much better to get hold of the clinical trial nurse. They are so helpful and sympathetic and they will steer you in the right direction.
Don’t delay.
In the meantime, I am praying so hard for you and your Dad. I know that Jesus wants us to be industrious, to use our talents in everything including medical science and combined with our tears and prayers He will intercede and bring healing.
God bless and keep us all posted!
Yes, he was lost without my Mom. After 62 total years together, it would have to be an insufferable shock. I just wish I could have taken him to the seashore one more time.
