This stinks. It has the odor of Steve Tyler all over it. Though, I've never met Tyler, I have met Brad Whitford and Tom Hamilton. They didn't seem to me the type of chaps who would pull this crap on, what is essentially, a family member. Both of them have had to sit out a number of tour dates due to injuries or surgeries in the past but never had to audition to rejoin the band.

Tyler does seem the type.

I sat next to an Aerosmith groupie on a flight about 15 years ago. The young lady just would not shut up about Steven Tyler. Steven said this, Steven did that. It didn’t impress me if that was the intent.

I used to listen to Aerosmith as a teenager in 1976. If anybody back then told me they’d still be around nearly a half century later, I’d have laughed at them.
