This is a small sample of Iranians celebrating the termination of terrorist leader Suleimani. These tweets are under the hashtag #FreeIran but there are so many other hashtags under which Iranians are communicating their thanks, their joy, their hopes for he future.

Than0ks for this ray of hope.
Good thing is msm is the dinosaur and a LOT of people are seeing the stuff on social media.
I don’t think one nephew or niece (ages 23 to 31) gets their news from msm outlets.
Globally the news is reporting on "protests" in America.
The protesters in America are 8 shades of Communist groups (C-ANSWER, Socialist Democrats, Workers World Party, etc.)
NO media reports are IDing the protesters as naked Communists.
Here are some screencaps:
"Defend Iran"
An anti-Israel poster:
An immigrant workers group?
It reminded me so much of this pic from a few years ago:
Here in SoCal, KTLA would run a feed of local Persians celebrating the death of General Salami and then switch over to a protest group consisting mostly of the usual orange man bad crowd.
This should all go in Trump campaign ads.

History has shown that Islam makes its greatest advances and solidifies its rule when it has a charismatic, competent, believing, aggressive military leader. Persia itself was conquered and force converted by Arab invaders. The mullahs had their man in Soleimani. His actions solidified their rule. Eventually the theocracy in Iran will end. Its end will not come by force of arms. The internet and social media undermines the coercive , medieval mullah rule. People in Iran and elsewhere know there is a better way to live. The death of Soleimani brings the day of liberation for the people of Iran closer.
That was then, this is now.

The regime is using Trump’s statements about attacking cultural sights in order to quash the positive posts & enthusiasm for Trump, expressed just days before.
An easy way for the regime to reign in & unify the people against Trump, because although the regime doesn’t care about the antiquities, the people feel very strongly about them.
> “Trump: “They’re allowed to use roadside bombs and blow up our people, and we’re not allowed to touch their cultural sites?” he said. “It doesn’t work that way.”
Trump knows what he is doing. Cultural sites used as human shields for regime leaders will not work.

The Iranian people are NOT stupid. They are actually much smarter than most realize. They know exactly what Trump is saying.
They know Trump is setting a conditional “IF - THEN” the American retaliation will take out the regime leaders even is they hide in a cherished cultural site.
The response of the Iranian people to their hated regime will be to “Stop the attacks, the terrorism!” “You are inviting destruction of our ancient Persian culture!”
The Iranian people know if regime criminals are killed while hiding in cultural sites, the blame goes to the regime, not to America because America is defending itself and its people.
If the Iranian People rise up and overthrow the terrorist dictators, there ancient culture will be safe.
Trump is brilliant.
HOORAY Iranian individuals. Thanks for posting.
“The Iranian people are NOT stupid. They are actually much smarter than most realize.”
I think the majority of people do realize how intelligent Iranians are. This has nothing to do with intelligence - it’s visceral.
“They know exactly what Trump is saying.”
I showed you on twitter that they don’t. You show me where they do. btw - there are many other Iranian blogs & internet sites condemning Trump for saying it.
Those cultural sites mean much more to them than you realize. Since 1979, those are visual remains of their identity. And the regime has destroyed & neglected ancient sights because of that.
The average age in Iran is 31. Those people don’t know life without the regime so they can’t remember what life was like. And they’re raising children who don’t know Iran without the regime.
I know, and the Iranian people know, that the regime uses civilians & civilian buildings as shields. If cultural sites have to be destroyed to bring down the regime, they don’t want outsiders doing it, they’ll do it themselves. I can’t imagine it would ever be a necessity to destroy them.
Let’s hope it never comes to that.
A FReeper on another thread, suggested that Trump was referring to cultural sites of the Revolution. And that would be acceptable to all those against the regime.
Maybe he really meant it to mean “you can run, but you can’t hide”.
Unfortunately, it has deflated the enthusiasm that you used to started the thread.
> “I showed you on twitter that they dont. “
What you showed doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter because when Americans are attacked, the regime will be terminated even if they hide in one of the 52 targeted sites that might be culturally historic. The US Intel community knows which sites the regime may choose evacuate to and all the sites are targeted.
The Iranian Regime must attack. To do otherwise shows weakness, Weakness invites revolt.
WHEN the regime attacks America, the retaliation will be so massive the Iranian people will blame their regime BECAUSE they were told what would happen if America is attacked.
The Iranian People will not blame America. If they think to blame America which they won’t, then they have two choices, make war or agree to negotiations. They do not want war so they will exercise reasonable judgment and turn their anger towards the criminals in their regime which they have been doing recent;y on a massive scale, a scale not seen since the 1979 evolution (see link below).
Since last month, the Iranians have been rising up against the Regime and hundreds if not thousands have been killed for doing so. Is this reported in the Fake News?
“”With Brutal Crackdown, Iran Convulsed by Worst Unrest in 40 Years

This is why it is brilliant what Trump said.
He is putting the Iranian people that are programmed to hate America in a box. He is making then decide, do they want war with America or do they risk getting behind other Iranians to fight the regime?
When the Iranian regime attacks, watch what Trump does. The Iranian people will be calling for the heads of their regime.
In any event, the Iranian Regime are now aware they can’t hide. There is no place for them to escape. If they don’t attack America, the People of Iran will finish them off. If they attack the Iranian people which they are doing now and have been doing for decades, how does that look to the world? How is it received by the Iranian People?
Game theory.
No matter what the Iranian Regime does, they lose.
Checkmate in less than or equal to 3 moves.
There is only one other scenario option. Negotiation. Trump has offered this. But the Islam terror personalities are so ego-driven they can’t accede to negotiation as it marks weakness. They won’t negotiate.
The Iranian people will throw them out and invite Trump’s negotiators to carve out a future peace and economic recovery. That’s how this ends.
OK, all we can know from these reactions is that there are a large number of Iranians who hate the guts of the Mullah and his military commander, Suleimani.
But how large? Is it the MAJORITY of Iranians or a huge minority?
We don’t really know.
It’s like what is happening in Iraq. We know that the Shiites in their parliament hate our guts and just voted to expel us. But this was done WITHOUT the cooperation of the Sunnis and the Kurds.
Are we loved or hated in Iraq or Iran?
Hard to tell. Not even with these tweets.
> “But how large? Is it the MAJORITY of Iranians or a huge minority?”
Majority. Huge, not seen since 1979.
With Brutal Crackdown, Iran Convulsed by Worst Unrest in 40 Years

Now look at your first question again “But how large?” and ask yourself why you don’t know the answer to this question. Could it be the fake news doesn’t want you to know?
I saw today a Democrat interviewed on a news stream where he was bellowing that all this violence was Trump’s fault because Trump scrapped the Iran Deal. He was very aggressive. I translated what he was saying as:
“You Trump supporters, you are going to be hurt, attacked, tortured unless you get behind the Iran deal. If you want peace, you throw Trump out!”
I saw him as threatening us. Knowing what I know, that the Iran Deal was a larger Ukraine type of kickback scheme allowing Iran to go nuclear, I see we have a regime here in America and in Western nations that are ruthless for power and wealth.
The reason this is relevant is because these democrats are counting on people not knowing what’s going on. As Biden remarked “If it’s not in the news, it didn’t happen.”
That’s how they think. If it’s not in their fake news, it doesn’t exist.
So why don’t more of us know about what’s happening on the ground in Iran? Because most of us don’t have the time to dig for the knowledge, we settle for receiving information from news outlets that are all programmed to say the same thing, the fake news media.
bkmk
I understand what you’re saying. I hope the Iranian people do.
In the end, we’d really like them to be an ally. So it does matter.
Yep, big damned difference between Persians and Arabs in many ways
A free, once again pro western secular Iran would have hugely favorable implications for us and Israel
