Right now is a pivotal time for unborn babies across the United States. $60 million was defunded from Planned Parenthood, we won victories for sidewalk counselors who counsel young women outside of abortion clinics, and we stood up for nurses forced to participate in abortions against their conscience.
Despite our victories, the abortion industry is expanding their efforts both in the United States and abroad. Barbaric late-term abortion laws have been passed in New York and are spreading internationally, Kansas lifted its ban on dismemberment abortions, and Planned Parenthood has made it clear they aim to double down on abortion.
Currently, we re appealing ther verdict in a monumental trial in federal court against Planned Parenthood in California.
But one of the biggest battles we face in the fight for unborn babies is not in any physical courtroom, but in the court of public opinion.
The following 5 pro-abortion tweets are sure to make your blood boil, but they are just an example of some of the horrific things we must push back against in the media.
I think if you're going to terminate a pregnancy, it should be done sometime before the fetus becomes Governor of Alabama. Jim Carrey
Carrey, star of 90s comedies like The Mask and Dumb and Dumber has garnered new attention with his often grotesque and politically motivated illustrations.
In this tweet from May of 2019, Carrey thought it funny to depict a horrific suction aspiration abortion on Kay Ivey Republican Governor of Alabama.
The image was met mostly with disgust and disapproval. But it demonstrated two points quite well: Carrey knows full well the grisly details of this abortion procedure, and that these unborn babies are, in fact, human lives. "Before Roe v. Wade, thousands of women died every year and because of extreme attacks on safe, legal abortion care, this could happen again right here in America." - Leana Wen
In April 2019, Leana Wen, President of Planned Parenthood at the time, took to Twitter to claim that thousands of women died every year before Roe v. Wade because of extreme attacks on safe, legal abortion care. We detailed this lie in a blog and how it earned Wen the maximum lying score of four Pinocchios from the Washington Post.
Less than 3 months after this tweet, Wen was fired from Planned Parenthood. Perhaps channeling Jim Carreys character in Liar, Liar, a movie in which a pathological liar is forced to tell the truth for one day, Wen posted a stunningly honest letter to her colleagues in response to her ousting.
Lens letter gives troubling insight into the direction Planned Parenthoods leadership is continuing to move the abortion giant. In the letter, Wen admits, The new Board leadership has determined that the priority of Planned Parenthood moving forward is to double down on abortion rights advocacy.
At the ACLJ, we hear this message loud and clear and plan to fight back for life. We must battle to defund Planned Parenthood, an organization that makes it crystal clear their only desire is to kill more babies.
As noted earlier, we are currently appealing a major case in California. The case involves undercover reporters who managed to record Planned Parenthood abortionists monstrously depicting the crushing of babies to harvest organs and joking about how much money they planned to make by selling these unborn babies body parts after killing them. "We need a Disney princess who's had an abortion. We need a Disney princess who's pro-choice. We need a Disney princess who's an undocumented immigrant. We need a Disney princess who's actually a union worker. We need a Disney princess who's trans" - Planned Parenthood Keystone
This tweet by Planned Parenthood Keystone marks the first on our list that has since been deleted by the user. Luckily quite a few Twitter users and news sources saw the shocking tweet for its complete lack of tact or discretion and managed to take screenshots.
At the time we detailed our thoughts in an article when this tweet first came out, stating:
The suggestion of a Disney princess characters traditionally meant to entertain and inspire young children who has had an abortion is absolutely sickening. It is the epitome of propaganda and indoctrination.
This is clearly an effort to target kids with a message normalizing and celebrating the killing of unborn babies. Sick. We've partnered with @WhatstheScoopdx by offering ice cream pints for sale for a limited time only, including a new custom flavor made exclusively for NARAL Pro-Choice Oregon: Rocky Roe v. Wade! Order yours now & help defend reproductive freedom! - NARAL Pro-Choice OR
In our previous entry, Planned Parenthood Keystone recognized their remarkable miscalculation and deleted their extremely heavy-handed attempt at indoctrinating children. This cautionary example couldnt stop NARAL Pro-Choice OR from forwarding the abortion industrys startlingly depraved narrative aimed at children. Just months later, they teamed up with an Oregon-based ice cream company to introduce a pro-abortion ICE CREAM FLAVOR.
You cannot make this stuff up.
They want you to support the killing of innocent babies by enjoying a scoop of ice cream, a favorite treat of children across the country. The brazenness of the abortion industry in their efforts to propagandize our youth with pro-abortion messaging is unthinkable and undeniable. No. You know fetuses cant scream, right? I transect the cord 1st so theres really no opportunity, if theyre even far enough along to have a larynx. I wont apologize for performing medicine. Im also a "uterus ripper outer," if thats how youd like to describe hysterectomy. - Leah Torres, MD
Abortionist Leah Torres took to Twitter in March of 2018 to crassly claim that unborn children cant scream when they are aborted. Her reply You know fetuses cant scream, right? I transect the cord 1st so theres really no opportunity . . . .
Bragging about cutting vocal cords so fetuses cannot scream as she rips them apart is downright wickedness.
This unapologetic abortionist has since deleted her horrifically honest tweet about how she kills these unborn babies without having to hear their screams.
The thought that Torres remains active on Twitter and other platforms with the stated goal of educating young adolescents about safe sexual health practices is enough to send shivers down ones spine.
Throughout this list weve been able to see the depravity of the abortion industry and their proponents first-hand. Weve shown you some of the shocking and barbaric statements they promote to even children.
One thing is clear. This fight will rage on in 2020 and beyond. We must fight for our children, both born and unborn, from being indoctrinated by these abortionists, or outright killed by them.
When we don’t permanently deal with evil wicked people, the wickedness spreads and we get what we have today.
Thank you, Morgana, for keeping us apprised of these horrors.
Planned Parenthood is led by women and men committed to ensuring the deaths of babies....
Alexis McGill Johnson is Acting President/CEO and leading the charge....
She is serious. This is what she does for a living.
Whew.
Abortionist Leah Torres said that
Yes. There are photos of her online. I considered posting one, but decided I didn't want to look at her when going through my old posts.
I think one avenue to reaching rabid pro-aborts is to remind them that those who are able to kill innocent babies without conscience can kill anyone without a second thought. The women who keep choosing to get pregnant and have abortions are kidding themselves if they think any abortionist has the slightest shred of concern for their well-being.
...those who are able to kill innocent babies without conscience can kill anyone without a second thought.
Indeed. Scary that theres so very many women in that camp, isnt it?
It is abnormal and contrary to human nature to worship abortion the way these people do.
