I love Clint Eastwood.
My kind of guy.
Looks like a good movie.
If only Mr. Jewell had lived to see it...
Not just the FBI but the fake news media which is our #1 problem in the USA right now. If they reported accurately we wouldn’t have a POTUS being abused like none other before him.
Harrelson’s brain is weed addled and it shows in everything he’s ever done. Midway is a great movie though, in spite of Harrelson’s acting abilities.
F vs. F is a great movie too. Great story, great acting, great production. Joker is a great movie. Joaquin Phoenix deserves best actor hands down.
“I am going to go see it.”
ditto ... AND we’re shocked that we’ve started going to movies again after a hiatus of at least 10 years ... we just saw “The Irishman” and two days later, “Midway” ...
Good for Clint. He and Mel Gibson are two of the last remaining people in Hollywood unafraid to tell a story, no matter where it goes.
I thought “The 15:17 to Paris” was his weakest work, largely because the key event in the movie only lasted a few seconds, but also because the backstory of the young men themselves just wasn’t captivating. “The Mule,” on the other hand, had a good story with enough humor to keep it from being a replay of “Gran Torino.” “Sully” was exceptionally well done, and Hanks made Sullenberger both vulnerable and strong.
But in “Richard Jewell,” Eastwood has a trifecta: a gripping story with a morality play (that happens to be on our side for a change); exceptional actors; and an unlikely leading man. Can’t wait.
I am looking forward to seeing this film.
“Eastwood will have to be nominated for Best Director”
The Author is forgetting who is dealing with. The Hollywood creeps are incapable of separating their politics from their actions. Clint is a out of the closet conservative neither he or his film will get anything.
Yeah, and they made Midway before. I saw it back in the day at the theater. Charlton Heston. Loved it. Even if they had many shots from Tora! Tora! Tora!
Of, course, I meant a modern movie. Done like this new Midway.
“I came away thinking that Harrelson has improved his acting as he has aged.”
He was really good in No Country For Old Men too.
I’ll bet she drives a “Smart Car.”
I still think that the GT-40 is one of the most beautiful cars ever made.

Not particularly a fan of Damon, but I have to say I thought he was terrific in "The Martian."
I have to admit that I wasn't positive about the title, so I did a web search... One of the questions that showed up was "Is 'The Martian' based on a true story?" HUH?!?!?!
Mark
Haven’t seen the movie, but I know one thing- Clint Eastwood has never produced a crappy movie.
Josey Wales deserves nations highest honor for civilians from El Presidente
