Same. The show bl0ws, the stories bl0w, the characters bl0w - Tom Baker reruns for me.
Complete with rainbow accents on the outfit... wonder if that was an accident (eye roll).
Is his/her name Dr Who?
David Tennant and Matt Smith were great as the Dr. It was a great run of funny, touching sci-fi with fun stories and special effects that were getting better, but when the producers jumped off the woke cliff, I stood back and watched them fall. No Ms. Who for me, no thanks.
BBC has a talent for taking winning shows and killing them by making ‘improvements’. Dr Who, Top Gear, the Great British Baking Show are three examples that come to mind. I guess when everyone who owns a TV in Britain helps to pay the bills, they don’t have to worry about ratings.
The next one will be a tranny: Dr. What?
I’m old enough to remember when I actually respected the BBC.
But then again, I was naive enough to also respect our press and gubmit.
Silly me.
Pandering desperation thinking Gender Bending will fix the ratings issue.. which is due to weak and poor stories for years.... The gender bending got a quick pop, but the writing got even worse....
Pandering never solves the real problem.
They lost me with the guy before. Couldnt make it through the first episode.
After watching for 40 years.
