Nothing. Congress is a go equal branch of Govt. Since the “impeachment inquiry” has no legal standing there is nothing that can be legally charges as “perjury”. This “trail” basically is pr stunt where the Democrats can simply make up any rules they want.
Where the rubber hits the road is in the US Senate. Not going to have their corrupt House “rules” to hide behind there.
Actually, I believe it is a criminal offense to lie to Congress while under oath. Even though Schiff is acting as the Grand Inquisitor, he is still Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee (yeah, I know, the jokes keep writing themselves.) and she was called in front of that Committee.
Schiff is stuck between a rock and a hard place. He can’t very well condone outright perjury in front of his Committee and hope to stay relevant. He also can’t impeach his star witness. What’s a Schiff to do?
Schiff went in front of the media and proclaimed her to be the final nail in the President’s coffin. Now he has to face the fact that ANOTHER witness had contact with his staffers and then lied about it under oath.
Can’t wait for the public hearings now that Jordan is on the Committee. How’s Schiff going to direct the questioning in front of a live TV audience. His best hope is the alphabet networks don’t run gavel-to-gavel coverage.
This could backfire on the Dems big time.

My thoughts exactly. Sort of like “Calvin Ball”, except I guess they both got to make the rules as they went, and had fun doing it.
