Every Great Dane I have ever met was always a sweet tempered dog.

Let’s see. The dog bit her husband a month earlier. She started each morning drinking beer and taking pain medications. He made the discovery of her death upon returning home after being released from jail. Did I miss anything?

Me too, they would not hit a high note, even when howling. Ans each time they opened their mouths to hassle, a five pound sack of Dixie Crystals sugar fell out.

Decades ago there was a guy who lived across the street from my parents who owned a great dane.

Often when the guy let the dog out in the back yard, the dog would easily jump the side gate then jump on to the roof of his car and lay there watching the neighborhood......LOL!
