All 34 public colleges in California to offer abortion pill in 2023

DAVIS, Calif. (KTXL) -- Abortion pills will soon be available at all 34 public colleges across California for those who want them.

“I think it’s a great idea,” University of California, Davis student Areeba Zaman told FOX40.

Access to the pill is expected to start January 2023 at all University of California and California State University health centers. The centers will be required to provide access to the abortion medication for students who want it.

“Being able to refer to your school as a resource for that sort of thing is very helpful,” student Andrea Garcia said.

The new law, Senate Bill 24, will offer the pill to students within the first 10 weeks of pregnancy for free. It will be given in two doses, which are taken hours apart.

“It’s a public campus, so I guess I think it’s fine. If it’s a private thing, it’d be different,” student Olivia Gallindo said.

Some students at UC Davis said it will make abortion services more accessible especially for those who live miles away from an off-campus facility.

“It gives students more option because I think it is harder to go to and find a health provider. And if we have that on campus, then I think it’s better,” student Ali Zaman said.

While many students support the idea, others say it’s sending the wrong message.

“I believe it belongs in the proper hands, a little more monitored and not as easily accessible,” student Max Gomas said.

California Family Council Director Greg Burt said there’s no reason for public colleges to offer the abortion pill. He said with health clinics close to the college campus, it raises the question of why universities are going to be involved in abortions.

When some poor soul dies after taking this medication and the school (as well as State of Cal.) gets sued, this hideous idea will surely come to an end.

FDA Confirms Dangerous Mifeprex Abortion Pill Has Killed 24 Women, Injured Thousands

It is unbelievable that Planned Parenthood and the rest of the abortion industry would still market something as lethal as the abortion pill as “safe.” It certainly is not safe for the babies that are destroyed by its use and the women who are physically and emotionally harmed.

In a chemical abortion, it is common for a woman to experience severe cramping, contractions, and bleeding to expel the baby. According to the Mifeprex medication guide, this is expected and shows that the “treatment is working.” How pleasant.

And they wonder why assaults and rapes on college campuses are a problem.

Sheesh!

No classes of any academic rigor are available, but they’ll get those pills.

How can the state of California violate federal prescription laws?

What’s next high blood pressure treatment pills and statins to treat cholesterol without a doctor seeing the patients and writing a personal rx for that patient for a specific drug to treat a specific ailment.

How about Oxycontin to treat whatever pain the student might have pre or post tests or imaginary pain.

“The silver lining is that maybe the left will go extinct”

That’s what everyone is missing here!

The people who get into the UC system in California are the Made Guys of the Far Left.

You gotta be a little red book waving Maoist to get on campus!

If they want to abort themselves into extinction, I feel awful for the babies, but....one less generation of stark raving anti-human trash walking around causing trouble.

I think there are 147 colleges: 10 UC’s with Cal being the first in 1867, 27 Cal States with San Jose being the first in 1852, and 110 Community Colleges with Fresno City College being the first in 1910.

Newsom is practicing the ugly art of crony capitalism and all the deaths of innocent due to his vice will torture him in hell forever.

Yes, the abortion pill like the birth control pill is harmful and should lead to lawsuits. And he will be responsible for the damages lives of women taking the stupid pill.

Women have a fragile symphony of hormones and every drop of artificial hormones destroys the symphony.
