Because our youth have been taught that unless you’re caught, it isn’t unlawful. The crime or act did not happen until a judge says it did even though the judges admit to determining law based upon opinion rather than fact, or even the determination, of the application of US laws.

A perfect example is SCOTUS judge Ruth Ginsburg who has openly admitted to the use of foreign laws in her decisions.

In a comment by Judge Roberts on this topic, “If we’re relying on a decision from a German judge about what our Constitution means, no president accountable to the people appointed that judge and no Senate accountable to the people confirmed that judge, and yet he’s playing a role in shaping the law that binds the people in this country.” So it is happening at the highest level. And our youth are being taught that a little wrong is all it is if it is not punished or proven so.

Cheater... Nah...Don’t think so, as I wrote the dang thing myself...Including original concepts comparing Christian, and Existential view of death. Just because the paper was heavily footnoted does not make one a cheater..

At my college you’d have been kicked out long before the final and not had your tuition refunded either. That’s why some college degrees mean more than others.

Last semester. SJSU threw in new requirments for extra units needed to graduate. Carried 21 units and graduated—with honors by the way. Member of Tau Delta Phi, etc...Tuition? 97 bucks a semester. Had GI Bill. Go suck and egg.

The state of New York recently passed a law requiring prospective school teachers to take a literacy test to get their license, but repealed it the following year because 36 percent of whites failed the test on the first try, while 54 percent of Hispanics and 59 percent of blacks failed.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/13/nyregion/ny-regents-teacher-exams-alst.html

In other words the State of New York is knowingly putting a large number of illiterate teachers in classrooms.

Other states have never literacy-tested teachers, meaning they know they’ll get the same result.

The fact that a large percentage of government school teachers can’t even read probably has a lot to do with the cheating.

Not if you go into the "public" sector.

Harder to get fired in the public sector but not impossible. Doesn't really apply here however. I can only recall a couple of our students in the past 20 years going into the public sector as almost all our students have much more lucrative job offers in the private sector.

Because our culture has “progressed” to a point where it is becoming morally bankrupt.

I confess, I did it too. Final semester, final exam. I was in charge of the computer lab which happened to be the same lab as my final film editing exam would be in. The machines at the time were ancient, slow as a snail, Pentium 4 systems running Windows XP Professional. I faked a system going out so I could install a newer, for the time, Core 2 Quad Windows 7 Pro system in the rear corner of the lab. I even upgraded the new system further with parts bought from newegg. I staked out that system like my life depended on it and when exam time came, I breezed through the final and got a perfect score. A lot of people didn’t finish and subsequently failed. After it was all over, I had one more lab session where I took out the upgraded parts and put the old system back in. Nobody but me knew any different. In passing, a teacher asked me if the system issue got fixed and I told him that all it needed was a reboot.

Affirmative action teaches everyone that is the color of your skin that matters, not the content of your character.

Plagiarism has been accepted by the liberal masses when MLK,Jr. was exposed. They gave him a pass when it was discovered and since then academic dishonesty has been overlooked and accepted because of this glaring incident in the name of diversity.

Why? It’s is simple.

Most Americans have abandoned virtually all the precepts of Judeo-Christian values and can’t spell “integrity” much less have any of it.

They consider it harmful to the child to fail, so they help their kids early on. Then they have to keep being propped up because they didn’t learn the previous material.

They prioritize activities and “leadership” over academics. The cheating is justified as time savings, oh, they’ll catch up later, but we have to do a sport, an art and a volunteering event now to get into college.

They consider it leveling the playing field with smart kids or rich kids supposedly having tutors.
