Excellent! Clear and direct.
We knew this was coming, don’t mess with the leader of the U.S.
Turkey scr**** us during the Gulf War.
The present day Kurds are not the same Kurds we supported during the Saddam years.
Hmmm. He gave Turkey a rope to hang themselves with.
NATO can re-evaluate its Turkish ties too.
We will no longer be obligated to Turkey.
It was a bad obligation.
Trump hates bad deals.
Has POTUS lifted sanctions on Syria? If not, he doesn’t need to blather about humanitarian actions to me. Especially, after gifting Al Qaeda’s White Helmets 5 million dollars.
He needs to close Al Tanf. The rukban deconfliction zone there where US sponsored terrorists had free reign, and the US kept displaced Syrians from receiving food and medicine or evacuating.
Reprehensible conduct by the US.
When President Trump talks like this he means it.
This action exposed Turkey. But it also additionally exposes NATO as a flaccid organization. Turkey has gone to the Rooskies and NATO sat by.
Complete the exorcism. Vote Turkey out of NATO.
Obama created another monster by supporting the Islamists taking control of Turkey.
As I understand the opposition to the President (from the Dems and from his own party), we are supposed to intervene on behalf of the Kurds, who have now aligned with Animal Assad The Gas Master, who we were supposed to kill to protect the Kurds, who were fighting against ISIS, who Assad was also fighting against, and now we have to take on NATO “ally” in order to keep ISIS from reappearing in Syria, though ISIS pretty much faded away once Trump defunded the “moderate rebels”, and by taking on Turkey, we are on the side of Assad, who we were supposed to kill. If we don’t invade, Northern Syria could fall back into the hands of ...... Syria. Nope, no possible quagmire there. Good thing we have really smart people like Marco Rubio to guide us through these complex issues.

Replying to @realDonaldTrump
Bush created ISIS.
Kurds and Obama beat them.
Trump brought them back.
In 2010 Al Qaeda in Iraq (AIQ), was established by Iraqi-born Ibrahim Awad Ibrahim al-Badry, who goes by the nom de guerre Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who self-proclaimed himself to be the caliph of the Islamic world. He renamed AIQ renamed it to ISIS in 2013. Obama referred to ISIS as the JV team and basically ignored them. He did not defeat them, otherwise, if he had there would have been no need for the U.S. to engage with Russia & Syria to eliminate them and take back swaths of territory they had captured and occupied.
Turkey has a sordid history of targeting ethnic and religious minorities.
As bad, or worse, than any country over in that area.
The PKK is a communist organization, if I remember right.
Other factions of the Kurds are not communists.
