The UN should be condemning either the Turks or the Kurds. It's a damn civil war and has been going on for years.

The present day Kurds are not the same Kurds we supported during the Saddam years.

The Iraqi kurds are not the same as the Syrian kurds...

There are various factions of Kurds, just as there are various factions of Americans. So these are not the same faction of Kurds that we supported in Iraq, they are the communist faction of Kurds. These Kurds are in no way considered to be our ally. They were a mercenary force that we paid well and supplied arms to. Unfortunately Turkey is an ally by its membership in NATO.
