Portland Police say a prominent anti-fascist activist was killed early Saturday outside Cider Riot, a Northeast Portland club and a popular gathering spot for left-wing protestors.
Sean D. Kealiher, 23, was hit by an SUV a little after midnight. He had been at the club earlier in the evening. Friends drove him to the hospital, where he died.
Someone fired shots at the SUV after it hit Kealiher, and the vehicle crashed into the headquarters of the Oregon Democratic Party.
The hit and run is being investigated as a possible homicide

That is a lot of irony in one sentence.
ANTIFA has a history of violence exceeding that of any gang.
During the cold war they used rocket propelled grenades and mortars in Europe.
While they may be using young American recruits over here, the level of discipline and organization displayed belies any claim that this is merely a homegrown operation.
"Descending"? When you're already low class scum, it's not a long trip. They were already gangs.
The driver of the SUV has so far gotten away with it. This is a story to follow.

Antifa is not anti-fascist. They are the very definition of fascist. They do have organization. We do not. Look how they descended on disarmed Trump supporters. This isn’t going to end well.

23 year old victim? That means when that picture was taken he was 19 or 20. This guy is a ‘leader’ of the local Antifa movement at that age?
This sounds like Hitler’s SS taking out Ernst Rohm and the leaders of the Brownshirts. Somebody within Antifa wanted him out of the way and is trying to pin it on the opposition.
Maybe? Maybe not? Maybe it was stolen? Don't know what this has to do with anything. No arrests have been made but I'd say it is a safe bet that the owner of the SUV (which can easily be determined by the vehicle's VIN, no plates required) has been contacted.
I read the whole story. There’s a lot we don’t know about this killing.
However, the author speculates that it may be a case of internecine violence, as Antifa breaks up into rival factions.
Monica Showalter is a good reporter. In the absence of facts on the ground, she makes some reasonable projections based on the past behavior of both criminal gangs and far-left organizations.
Read it all, and perhaps get a small morale boost. Antifa being engaged in its own civil war means Antifa will have less ability to wage civil war against normal folks.
Of course, there’s always the possibility of collateral damage. But infighting on the lunatic left could be a break for our side.

When you want to run over Antifa, compact, fuel-efficient cars are poor choices.
I call them ActualFa.
I think it's also possible that Proud Boys or Patriot Prayer might be involved. They're getting fed up with Antifa as well and many of their members have no problem engaging in payback violence.
I wouldn't lose a minute's sleep if either of these groups were running down Antifa scum with SUV's, only disappointment if there were no videos on YouTube.
