Swedish schoolgirl Greta Thunberg has launched a global climate strike and then threw a rant at the podium of the General Assembly. Combating global warming is becoming a big political and business project. Behind one unhappy girl, and this is a diagnosis, there are powerful PR specialists, profiteers, and politicians from around the world. The US Democratic Party is writing a Green New Deal. And it's very popular. This project makes socialists flinch and wonder if it's legit. Financial companies have declared a Green Marshall Plan. President Macron demands that transport companies stop using the Northern Sea Route. This is some kind of collective insanity that began back in the days when a former US vice president and a Democratic Party candidate received the Nobel Prize for topics related to Al Gore.

In 10 years, assuming she’s not totally brainwashed, she’ll look back on all this and wonder how she could have been so stupid.
The truth is if Thunberg really believed her own nonsense she’d hasten to this lifestyle at the outset.
Maybe she’ll meet a boy, find out what life is really about, and settle down. A good husband and a couple of babies have cured many a neurotic girl.
She should go back and read past theories on climate change that never came to pass. We have been told the world is ending so often now I do not believe any of this nonsense. By the way how does she get to all of these venues. Does she fly or drive? She should practice what she preaches before asking others to do the same.

My take is that climate change is real but to believe humans has some serious impact is ridiculous. Solar and volcano activity make everything we can add in this department insignificant.
Let her live in some Islamic country. She’d look good in a Burka.

One thing I started to mention about eco-freaks is their agenda radicalizes over time.
First they were all about kimbaya and stuff but now they talk Nazi talks that the Earth needs population control, there are too many people and so on.

I like how he said she could have given her speech over the internet. Good point. All these celebrities could do that, too, instead of flying or yachting somewhere to cry about carbon footprints and climate change.
Yes, and they need business jets and mega yachts to get around to preach their bs.
Maybe she should move to Congo and drink from a river, wear the same shirt for 20 years and no shoes and to eat a banana on a good day? That would cut enough in carbon footprint to allow several thousand other people to pursue the same lifestyles. On a plus side she won’t live into forties. Less carbon footprint!
