I’m going to an iPhone this time around because my car has Apple CarPlay. Hopefully with the release of this new one I can get a deal on last year’s model, which suits my needs fine.

Check out the iPhone 8 which at $449. That model will fulfill that need. Don’t forget to scroll to the bottom of the Apple.com page and check out their refurbished store (same warranty as brand new — many of them are being just items that have been purchased and returned or excess from bulk purchases that were not put in service) where you can get a good discounted price.

I’ve bought used devices from swappa.com, mainly tablets, and they are a good place to find a deal on slightly used tech that’s only a year old or so.
