It all depends on what you Vape. This is more scare mongering.
Vaping is an excellent way for a nicotine addict to get the nicotine he craves without all the other harmful chemicals in cigarette smoke. These pulmonary problems began when people began vaping for substances other than nicotine and using liquids and oils from iffy sources. The market is flooded with every imaginable flavor and scent, all created with weird chemicals and artificial flavors and who knows what else.
Over the radio, I heard someone that said he was a doctor say that vaping was not the problem. The problem was the extras they added before they vaped. Not being a vaper, it is all Greek to me.
OMG!!! Five people out of 330,000,000. THE SKY IS FALLING
The “vape crisis” is one being massaged and promoted by Big Tobacco— who wants to outlaw vaping of microdosed nicotine only tabs— cool steam vapored— without ANY of the 100’s of carcinogenic vegetable tars and Big Tobacco added “flavouring” chemicals. THAT is the true story of this “vaping crisis”. Vaping nicotine microdoses is not carcinogenic, as tobacco products ALL are.
Nicotine is quite addictive. It’s easier to get off of heroin than nicotine. Big Tobacco is losing its ability to be the delivery vehicle monopoly of nicotine in the form of smoked, and chewed tobacco. Big Tobacco is using the “power” of the revenue federal taxes it brings in to the US— to leverage the control of a “NON-tobacco” nicotine delivery device. Tobacco— causes CANCER.... the carcinogens are NOT nicotine. But nicotine is what hooks people on tobacco. These are the facts.
Funny-— vaping pen buyback programs! Meanwhile Big Tobacco continues to OWN the fedgov— through the same agency that patrols Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms.... and, Explosives-— all on the basis of being Federal revenue law controlled and policed. Just as in Prohibition/Volstead Act.
5 cases in one month? All of a sudden??
California Man just does not have as much fun as Florida Man.
I’m guessing this one will turn out to be caused by a bad vap pipes or some bad mix. It will be traced back to a single source.
Sorry, I just cannot feel sorry for someone doing something that end up being the cause of his own death.
He’s a victim of his own stupidity.
My doctor made me quit smoking seven years ago, so I started vaping. Much to the dismay of many, I’m still here.
Wow - he had chronic lung issues and his demise was “possibly tied to vaping”...
I still need to quit actual cigarettes but probably get less nicotine than a LOT of vapers....seen such huge clouds of vape smoke coming out of car windows it looked like there had to be a raging fire going on in there....bet they can tweak them things to give whole cigarette doses in one toke...
