Her staying in school and getting a PHD or other professional degree is fine.
Her waiting until all this is done and she is set up in her career is not fine. She’s in her early 30’s by then. Her youth is gone. The types of men she will want.....those of a similar age with similar qualifications will want women who are no older than their 20s.

This article states that women have more college degrees than men today, but that there is a “pay gap”, never asking what degrees they have; which are most likely in fields that have low pay; social sciences and other crap.
You forgot women file for 70% of the divorces.

I think it’s due to society telling them they are evil and basically dogsh*t since first grade and they say eff it and dropout of the grid so to speak.

That's because first blacks shunned marriage, now more whites do. And Asians, even lower middle-class ones, still do get married as do almost all weathy ones.
Playing those instruments or getting carted to ice-skating practice, it's NOT like 2-on-2 pickup at the back-alley basketball hoop, it's requires HEAVY parental involvement.
So no blacks and fewer honkies, now. A blind guess is that in 20 years it will be over 90% asian.
When you refer to marrying down - financially?
Lately, the only weddings I’ve been going to are ones where the women are older (sometimes a lot older) than the men.
Actually last one I went to was full blown blue collar. Woman is an HR Rep ($60kish) and her groom was a newly deputized Police Officer ($30kish? not sure).
This is an interesting topic to me because it shows how decrepit our society has become. Single people and people who never marry tend to die much younger than married couples. There is a reason for that.

I tell both my sons (in their 20's ...) to NEVER EVER EVER get married and they know why.
Personally, after being divorced 3 years I started dating again. I've been dating a wonderful woman for the past year. Think the world of her, love her, there's just NO WAY I'll marry her. Not at my age, not after what I've been through. I was lucky to come out of my 30 year marriage still financially stable, able to take care of myself and retirement, and with my credit rating intact.
There's just no way I'm going to risk anything at this point. Much as I love my GF and would do anything for her, just not marriage.
I suspect she feels the same way too. She's said she likes our relationship as it is and doesn't want to change anything. I have to agree with her.
Of course Corporate America wanted women in the workplace, as opposed to being stay-at-home moms, because it doubles the potential supply of labor, which drives down wages.
They’re getting preferential treatment from the day they step into a classroom. The teachers are female, they’re asserting that it’s “their turn”. There’s a constant drumbeat of “girl power” in everything. My sons college graduation was 80% female.
Boys are being neglected and the women around them don’t care.
Why is the onus only on men in your eyes? Don’t you think women should stop going from one man to another, getting beat down by the wall, then they cry that there are no “good men” left to pick up the pieces of their life, and fund them and pay for everything?
Wrong. You know why married men die first?
Because we want to.

From the man's point of view, the priority order is:
1) Is she NOT going to try to financially rape him? (Otherwise, it makes more financial sense to rent rather than buy)
2) Is she going to still be interested in sex after the wedding? (Because what is the point of getting married if it results in celibacy?)
3) Does she want kids? (Otherwise, why bother marrying)
4) Is she going to be interested in making an effort to keep him happy?
There are no male adults.
There are situations where marriage opens ones financial and personal resumes not just to the spouse, but to those relatives when situations arise. Marriage makes the most sense when people are starting out together and neither has debts the other might become responsible for.
LOL it’s crap that single men die sooner. They have far less to worry about in life. That equates to far less stress. They also don’t need to spend so much time to finance someone else’s lifestyle, as well as paying down their debt.
