But, but weve been told that women prefer incompetent beta males (I didnt use men deliberately). Isnt that what the left has been telling us?
Diversity!
A store has just opened in New York City that offered free husbands. When women go to choose a husband, they have to follow the instructions at the entrance:
You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are 6 floors to choose from. You may choose any item from a particular floor, or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you CANNOT go back down except to exit the building!
So, a woman goes to the store to find a husband. On the 1st floor the sign on the door reads: Floor 1 - These men Have Jobs
The 2nd floor sign reads: Floor 2 - These men Have Jobs and Love Kids.
The 3rd floor sign reads: Floor 3 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids and are extremely Good Looking.
Wow, she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going. She goes to the 4th floor and sign reads:
Floor 4 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Good Looking and Help With Housework.
Oh, mercy me! she exclaims. I can hardly stand it! Still, she goes to the 5th floor and sign reads:
Floor 5 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Gorgeous, help with Housework and Have a Strong Romantic Streak.
She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the 6th floor and the Sign reads:
Floor 6 - You are visitor 71,456,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that you are impossible to please.
Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store.
To avoid gender bias charges, the stores owner opened a Wife Store just across the street.
The 1st first floor has wives that love sex.
The 2nd floor has wives that love sex and have money.
The 3rd through 6th floors have never been visited....
Define “stable job”.
More and more, one ill-considered thought shared in a boardroom or on social media is considered grounds form SJW embowlment. Ask the guy who was running Mozilla a few years ago.
More to the point, women always see men of better financial status as “marrying material” and fewer of them exist because the women demand to be given high-paying positions in the name of “equality”.
How’s that brave new world working out for you gals?
When you work hard for 60 years to make most decent Western men out to be the horrible monsters & inbred imbeciles you project them to be, don’t cry when they actually become that.

Look at all that boxed wine and cats
What you post is undeniably true.
Those house hunting shows on HGTV drive me insane because they feature 20-something couples who have the good fortune to be able to afford a $900,000 beachfront home.
The women look at several and have NOTHING but complaints about them.
It’s a very, very different world than it was not too long ago. Marriage seems to be more of a strategic move for women these days, and less of a sacred vow of partnership and love. I look back at my grandparents: in both cases, by grandfathers were employed in relatively lower-paying jobs that had (by the standards of today’s women) a rather limited ability to impress other women (which now seems to be a major goal). One sold neon lighting for theater marquees, and then moved on to coffee sales. The other worked at a mortuary, collecting and embalming bodies. Both went on to be very successful in life, and in time accumulated some notable wealth. They all stayed married, had several kids, and lived complete lives. They never seemed interested in keeping up with the Joneses, but did just fine, thank you. I’ve done alright myself, and after two failed marriages, am no longer in the game. Was gutted financially in the first one, and like so many others, had to start out again dead in the water at 40. Lonely as all get out sometimes, but the risk, in every sense, is just too great.
Note to self: Move more of the 401K into boxed wine producers.
Quote from Samantha the hairdresser:
“I need a man who makes at least $250k/yr and has an MBA”.
She’s 45 now and still lookin’....
Hot Asian women with good jobs? Where was this when I was in college?
We are in our late 50’s so all of our friends kids are at the age they are getting married. Been to many marriages last few years
We noticed without exception nearly all are college educated and upper middle class or wealthy.
We have plenty of white and blue collar friends but rarely go to a blue collar wedding. I listened to Jordan Petersens comments about marriage and I was floored. Exactly what we have been seeing. White collar and wealthy are the only ones getting married.
Women will never marry down.
My wife is in the horse hobby which is 99% female. All the young gals are educated, most attractive, fit, make lots of money but they are all single. They refuse to marry down. So their spouse become their horse.
Less marriage, more homeless, more shooters...
You stole that from Dr. Laura’s book the Proper Care And Feeding of Husbands! Although the men’s version I haven’t seen before . . .
At age 72 I read this article, and reflect on my past, my past readings, and general overall experience with the topic of this article, and wonder since when is this a new dilemma as outlined.
Perhaps the authors position stems from youth, and studies rather than experience. I recall many a discussion in my early years about economic stability as during that time of my life marriage, and economics of such were at the forefront of topics. It’s the same today as it was yesterday.
The real enemy is leftist feminism.
> And minimizing labor cost as much as possible is a particular objective of business.
It is, which is why we have seen big business lobby hard for labor dumping - H1Bs and illegals and moving more women out of the home and into the workplace.
But the question is a political one, not a business decision. And the political situation is that the US as a nation can throw its weight around like no other nation could ever hope to do. Should business choose to flee to the lowest wage labor as its primary directive, we can impose equalizing (or even punitive) tariffs.
Because bottom line, these businesses need access to the US market and that is much more important than minimizing labor cost uber alles.
It really isn’t a good and sustainable business practice to relentlessly drive down wages. The lower quality and morale of the workforce will eliminate any savings from penny-pinching pretty quickly.
And you’ve got to support her financially inept parents and siblings along with that too.
“Hot Asian women with good jobs? Where was this when I was in college?”
Asia.
There was once a word called “responsibility”, it has lost it’s meaning. No one likes to be responsible these days for anything. If you give a student $1000 to enroll in a College or Trade School, they’ll use it to buy a tattoo. Yet those who wish to make it in this world are mocked/ridiculed. Too many mommy boys and druggies out there, I feel sorry for all those nice women. Good guys are at a premium and they can choose among many. Are there any Mrs. Beaver out there anymore? Not in Urban USA. I was lucky, I found one.
Hypergamy doesn’t care.
