What I don't understand is why the medical profession has led the charge to normalize what is only one type of a common mental illness; body dysmorphic disorder. Meanwhile, not a one of them would suggest performing lap band surgery on an anorexic, so they could transform themselves to align with their illness. With the benefit of hind sight I believe that changing the health care professional’s opinion on gender dysphoria was a stratagy aimed at protecting ObamaCare.
You heard about normalizing the illness a little before the Presidential election but after Trump won and the danger of Trump’s promise of ending socialized medicine looked like it may become a reality the push for normalizing the illness to add weight to the keep ObamaCare side of the equation.
