90 percent of the shows in the 60s, 70s and 80s would never be on TV today..one episode of Leave It To Beaver, the Beaver was invited to a little girls birthday party, he was the only boy invited, her father invited him into his den and let him play with his guns..today that would be considered a “Red Flag”

An old buddy of mine since high school, a big Black guy who would make Marc Henry look like Don Lemon. I nicknamed him Magilla and he’d laugh it off. We would all poke fun at each other and we understood it was all in fun and got along just fine.

Long about late 60s, early 70s we found the the anchors were LIARS and were skewing the news and it sure took a lot to convince their ‘fans’....etc
I never could convince my dad that news readers were skewing the news. He thought Tom Brokaw was a legitimate news caster and journalist.
