In 1976 we had a 8 month old bull calf that was “mutilated”. When he didn’t show up at the barn we went looking for him. We had 40 acres that were partially forested on the slopes of Mt. Adams in Washington state. We found him down in a low spot under some trees, on his back, legs straight up, and missing his sack and penis, which appeared to have been removed clean, neat and precise. There was no blood, and no visible signs of struggle in the area where we found him.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either opinion or satire. Or both.)

"There was no blood, and no visible signs of struggle in the area where we found him." What killed him, then?

My late husband was born in 1929 about six miles from the University of Iowa where VanAllen and others were doing space research. When he was 10, he and another boy saw something that amazed them. Remember this was 1939, when Hitler just started on his conquest of Poland, Great Britain, etc. The boys saw a large red glowing round object hovering near the Iowa River. Then it suddenly swooped up into the air and shot out of sight behind the hills of Hills, Iowa. At any rate my husband thought that UFOs were real.
Regarding the calf, I have heard that some predator animals/birds will go after the privates first, and if that were the case and they were frightened away it could end up looking pretty weird. Which is not to say that aliens are not real and looking in on us.
