Executive Order: Paper ballots with hardcopy audit trail.
Yes I know a federal judge will block it but so what?
The push to have networked, computerized voting makes NO sense to me - unless the secret purpose is for more control by a few people at the top of government in America.
go back to paper ballots, analogue/mechanical machines, or even dipping one’s finger in ink, ala Iraq - all organized by local precincts. Such systems are diverse, completely un-hackable, and incapable of large-scale manipulation.
Oh lord, not this horrible little piece of blog trash again.
Does your family know you are trying to sell trash like this?
Have you tried getting a job?
now that's funny! It shouldn't be that difficult to prove so prosecute the voting machine programmers/handlers for vote fraud and election rigging! As well fire the Secretary of the State and the county Election Commissioner, They should have tested the security of the machines before they were allowed to be used.
So they'll go back to the old pre-marking hundreds of paper ballots in the back room of the union hall, then swapping them out for the real ones after the polls have closed. Or "finding" them the next day in a RAT operative's car trunk.
The only safe way to vote is paper ballots cast in person. All other means of voting are invitations to fraud.
In “ The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress” Robert Heinlein uses the computer to insure the the count from an election went the right way.
Well at least every vote counts! Even if they count against the person you are voting for.
Bring back the chads.
Anyone who needs a ballot shouldnt be voting.
I'm not working the polls again. The Mathematician in me is uncomfortable with greater complexity as a way to make the vote more secure.
Rhetorical question:
Why would this “feature” be programmed into the machines?
It only does what it’s programming tells it to do.
We’re still waiting for you to get a job and quit crying like a little girl on the forums.
We? Who's "We"?
You and your smelly little gerbil?
Me and everyone else on this forum who’s sick of your incessant, pathetic bitching.
Which is basically everyone.
Last time I called you out, you attacked me as a fag without me saying anything at all about gayness. Now you bring up a Richard Here gerbil. Shows where your nasty mind is.
Go into the booth and record it on your phone. Screw the claims! Video the proof! And if it works out the way you voted, delete the recording . If not, you will make serious money selling the recording and it only cost you 1 vote!
I’m in Mississippi and have used the touch screens for years and hate them - calibration not always spot on so the exact touch spot isn’t always properly interpreted and that can actually be used as a way to cheat the unaware.
Moved to a new city recently and love their ballots - fill in the circles and then run it through a scanner...ensures a paper trail is available.
Voting machines don’t malfunction and flip votes.
That’s a result of programming.
