Page down and click on Mark Levin Audio Rewind - 8/23/19
You will want to listen. Mark has done a 180 concerning President trump from his ignorant Never-Trump stance. Very good show.
Ne should be Be
I miss him FReeping.
Mark is a very smart guy.
Was he wrong before with his head up his arse, or is he wrong now with his head up his arse?
Either way, his head is still up his arse.
Turned him off quite a while back.
Never Trumpers have something wrong, mentally, spiritually and philosophically.
Very hard to return from that kind of wilderness.
I would say you’re the one with the head up the ass.
Welcome to the ranks of the deplorables Mark. God Bless You !!
You just might want to swallow your perceptions and give the new, or perhaps it's the old, Mark Levin again. Whatever it is I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
Yes, very glad he has “seen the light”. 8>)
Thanks for posting, I miss his show a lot because of my job.
I did mention that Hillsdale sponstered this podcast. 8>)
About the “NeverTrump” thing...
Donald Trump, by his very nature, was all over the board politically throughout his business career. Granted, he was pro-business, and yes, had a good sense of ROI, building costs, business codes, etc., but we did not know how he was going to preside. Politically, Trump was an unknown, and his style of contradicting statements had yet to become codified through execution. In short, Trump was the epitome of the political unknown, and there was no real way of knowing whether his actions as president would return the US to its former exceptionalist state.
In the meantime, we had a very conservative candidate in Ted Cruz, who was not only a known figure, but we knew how he would have presided based upon his track record, and his dedication to the originalist and pragmatic application of the US Constitution.
So BEFORE he became president, he was an unknown. That is how #NeverTrump started: by people on the conservative/libertarian RIGHT, not the RINO’s. And to be blunt, a RINO-like presidency would have been a horrendous disaster, easily ending any Republican chances in 2020 and most probably forever as the US would cease to exist as a constitutional republic within a decade.
Since his presidency started, however, he has performed magnificently, at least compared to former Republicans other than Reagan and Coolidge. Even then, he’s surpassed them, particularly on Reagan’s big mistake with regard to immigration. And only Trump could have played the tariff game with such authority, and knows he’s not doing it for profit, but for moving the country in a freedom-oriented manner. I don’t think even Ted Cruz would have engaged in this manner, let alone any RINO.
In short, conservatives like Levin, myself, and I daresay a good amount of Freepers here pulled the lever with our noses pinched, because Hillary would have marked the end of the country within her first term, knowing what we know NOW about social media bias manipulation and vote harvesting/stealing. We weren’t sure if Trump was going to go RINO on us on compromising with illegals despite the Build the Wall promises; on taxes, and even on judges.
He proved us wrong. Thank god for that. So it is NOT the fact that we “came around,” it is the fact that Trump PROVED HIMSELF. Two very different connotations of the same event.
Yes I understand all of that, but we knew that he was our only choice for real change. I was a big supporter of Ted Cruz, however, when I realized that he had Canadian citizenship in my mind it absolutely made him not a Natural Born Citizen, thus ineligible. So it was indeed a gamble, but it was the only real gamble worth taking, as all of the rest would have given us more of the same. What really swayed me to Trump was his ability to fight, and not only fight but win the narrative consistently. By that time I no longer considered it a gamble, but a necessity. But like you I am glad he lived up to my expectations. 8>)
I view Levin as I would the prodigal son. His political instincts leave a helluva lot to be desired, but at least he has finally seen the light. Hallelujah! He needs to stay close to his Constitutional expertise and less so with politics.
Yes, some of the Tea Party people he supported have shown themsleves to be less than the patriots he promoted them as.
Oh damn, sorry ‘bowt that! I need new glasses! lol DELETE MY POST MODS!
Yes, some of the Tea Party people he supported have shown themselves to be less than the patriots he promoted them as.
Not to worry, I often miss important information because of my eyes. 8>) I suffer from macular degeneration.
Does the Constitutional expert still think Cubans born in Canada are natural born citizens eligible to be President?
