“As long as the federal government protects the species, the problem is not going to be solved.”

Like there were and have never ever been sharks off Cape Cod.

Where did Jaws take place?

Makes sense.

I'm a 71 yo native Bostonian, living in Pa., and I have to say;

I NEVER heard of sharks on the Cape ... ever.

We'd visit Manomet almost every year for a week to vacay with neighbors.

It MIGHT be water temp.

Manomet is ice water .... even in August.

I have cousins who were extras in that movie. They were some of the bikini-clad girls screaming on the beach.

I’m in my 50’s and I have to say seals were never around Cape Cod in my youth...ever.

Times have changed. Commercial fisherman have died off and no longer shoot seals.

The Great Whites and seals are mostly on the south side of the cape. That water is warmed by the gulf stream as always.

It’s the over-fishing of their main food source.

They are coming in closer to shore because they have no great schools of fish to consume..............

Once they get a ‘taste’ of all the liberals, they will go elsewhere....

A fat and a skinny mountain lion were standing on a hill watching some cowboys below.

The skinny one asked the fat one how he did it...
The fat one explained that he would approach them, pick off a straggler, finish eating and walk away.

The skinny one says I do about the same...

Fat guy says show me...

Skinny lets out a yowl, tears down the hill and pounces on one .....

He comes back and fat boy says...there is your problem.

You let out that yell and scare the pee out of them, knock them on the ground and knock the $hiite out of them and all you have left is a pair of boots and a hat.

45 years ago (1974) they must be near 60 now. Hope they bought a house when they were there, real estate has done well :)

Since terrorist attacks in London are now part and parcel for living under muslim mayorship, are more shark encounter/feeding businesses now welcome in the area?
