It’s going to be a Biden/Kamala ticket. Biden may pick Michele Obama as his running mate as well. If Kamala softens any criticism of Joe, you’ll know they’re already talking. Thoughts?

My thought is that it is way too early to be entertaining such speculation. You’re welcomed to do so, of course, but it is too early for me to play along.

Plugs Biden and I-got-plugged both on the same ticket?
Rotate any name you want for either position, and we could waste time speculating about the plausibility.
Mike Obama won’t take it. He hasn’t worked for a living in his life.
She doesn’t bring anything to the table but money and he already has that. She cannot deliver any sort of a vote and she is horrible.

I said over a month ago that Biden is a decoy, and I don’t believe it as strongly now as I did then, but I still think it’s the most likely possibility.
Biden is only there to take most of the focus off of the dark horse candidate who is going to ride in after the primary action really happens.
Biden is “most electable” because of his records, but Biden is definitely not most electable up against Trump. He can’t hang... He will get smoked. I think the DNC knows this. He is just being dangled out there for as long as possible (this has been going on for months) so that the cover of scrutiny and heat is off of the real candidate

It’s not too early. The VP choice will me much more important considering sleepy Joe’s age. The ‘adults’ in the party know a governor would be best for 2024 because they’re smart enough to know Biden will lose in 2020. A long-term setup that will keep the whacks at bay. They got it right with BJ-not Hillary. Kamala as VP would be like Hitler sharing power with that guy who died. A matter of time.
Oh oH please God make it so, It would be a riot in the political cartoons at least from the conservative point of view. Well pretty much any of the contenders would be a riot.
I doubt Michelle would sign on. Her support is a mile wide as FLOTUS but that would evaporate because she would be horrendous.
My thoughts are twofold: for one thing, the guessing game is fun and you play the appearances as they come into view; on the other hand, the appearances of today are bound to change, maybe radically,over the next 6 months.
I still think a ChickenCooper/BuddyJig ticket would be very attractive; but St. Jude probably wouldn’t even take the case. Anyway, the person at the top of the ticket will NOT be a white male (exception for a white male who is a switch-hitter).
