BUSTED: Secret Texts Surface Between FBI’s McCabe and British Spy Chief During 2016 Illegal Probe
TRUEPUNDIT ^ | 7/30/2019

Two of the most senior intelligence officials in the US and UK privately shared concerns about “our strange situation” as the FBI launched its 2016 investigation into whether Donald Trump’s campaign was colluding with Russia.

Text messages between Andrew McCabe, the deputy director of the FBI at the time, and Jeremy Fleming, his then counterpart at MI5, now the head of GCHQ, also reveal their mutual surprise at the result of the EU referendum, which some US officials regarded as a “wake-up call”, according to a person familiar with the matter.

While Russia had previously been viewed as a country that would seek to interfere in western elections, the Brexit vote was viewed by some within the FBI as a sign that Russian activities had possibly been successful, the person said.

Their exchanges offer new insights into the start of the FBI’s Russia investigation, and how British intelligence appears to have played a key role in the early stages.

In one exchange in August 2016, Fleming noted that members of the FBI and MI5 had “met on our strange situation”, a veiled reference to discussions about Russian activities, according to the source.

True Pundit reported in 2017 that Britain’s spy agencies played a crucial role in spying on Trump and his associates for the FBI prior, during and after the 2016 presidential election.

That exclusive True Pundit report from Sept. 2017 revealed President Barack Obama’s White House too could be implicated, sources said. But while evidence certainly points to involvement of the Obama administration, sources said they did not have access to definitive intelligence proving such a link.

I understand completely the frustration that many here on FR feel about the glacial pace of any possible investigation/prosecution, and I share that equally.

But I think your post hits the nail on the head. It has to be iron clad and obvious.

We won’t see sedition charges, though I think they are warranted. Bring down a sitting government via conspiracy...is there any doubt that is what has been going on?

But the best we can hope for is some felony charges with disgrace and possibly some charges may be the best we can hope for...with the really big fish getting off scot-free.

About the most we can realistically hope for are Strozk and McCabe (though I do hold out faint hope for Brennan and Comey)

Sigh.

A really great source for a lot of the articles on this Leftist chicanery may be found at Dan Bongio's website (Link to Dan Bongino's Podcasts)

If you click on any one of the podcasts it gives you the option to listen to them (I subscribe and listen to them on my way home from work) but you don't have to listen...just as good are the group of important, interesting and relevant hyperlinks he posts every day on various subjects, primarily on this spying scandal. He usually has only five or six links at most, but they are cherry picked for prime utility. If you subscribe to his podcast, even if you don't listen, they will automatically send you an email each day with the links.

They are invaluable!

Dan the Man would make a good FBI director.

Hahaha! NEW RULES!

Gotta love it. Some people don’t like the repetition, but...I do. I am a bit thick on some things.

i am whole heartily looking forward to a return to know one is above the law, and will be patient as president trump is our best chance of this happening... if not, i will run for congress next time and move for such legislation.

I grew up in the 50’s, and the threat of Russia was pounded into our heads regularly. Air raid drills were a regular affair. At 7 or 8 years old, I was a very impressionable child, and each time we were herded into the school hallways to sit, I listened for the sound of the planes that were coming to attack us. Now the threat is from our own intelligence agencies.

Of the same vintage, and remember those drills well. Today there would be mass hysteria, and ACLU lawsuits aimed at shutting those down, as they cause “ irreparable harm to the psych of young people, and undue concern to their parents...

Some judge would step in and ban them...... meanwhile letting a more real danger take down the country without firing a shot. Illegal immigration.

***Radcliffe has really got them worried, he is the first to come right out and say “Crimes have been committed”. We who have been paying attention know that, but...for someone in his position to specifically say it is unusual and significant***

True, there has been some great investigative journalism. I worked for 15 years in a network news operation and I recognize news from propaganda. These are perilous times!

***I am certain there are people in positions of influence (John Radcliffe, Devin Nunes and AG Barr just to name a few) who are going to use these types of articles as road maps and sources for avenues of exploration***

The fact that critical facts are generally known will hopefully put pressure on the DoJ and Congress to pursue true justice. This dual standard of justice must not be allowed to take deep root.

Glad you brought up STRZOK, because the August 2016 period of McCabe's collusion with MI5 is exactly the time period when the Strzok-Page "insurance policy" text places McCabe undeniably right in the middle of their anti-Trump collusion:
Talking about Trump’s chances in August 2016, here’s what Strzok wrote {to Lisa Page}: "I want to believe the path you threw out in [former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe's] office — that there’s no way he gets elected — but I’m afraid we can’t take the risk. It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40."

Filthy rats. Being the “smartest people in the room” they arrogantly thought nobody would run them down.

They may still get off, but at least they are sweating a bit.

I am not as pessimistic as some, but...I am not as optimistic as I once was, either. I am still holding out hope.

I am of the same frame of mind. However, with all the info out there about this coup, if the DoJ cannot bring down a few convictions I think there will be a firestorm from the citizenry the likes of which Washington has rarely seen.
