I thought they were just crickets. Dang, those things are annoying me. They’re everywhere, not just near the neon spots.

Can Vegas visitors place bets on which of the plagues will arrive next? Not necessarily the order in the Bible.

Also national “off plague site” betting at bookie joints. Those could land them in jail.

Sin City and a plague of grasshoppers. Hmmmm... Perhaps a warning. Grasshoppers are not known to carry disease. However what happens when the grasshopper start landing on feces covered sidewalks and streets.

Yeah, getting a couple hundred a day drowning in my pool...and I’m out at the very edge of the city, where there are a lot of newly fat lizards. They are freakin everywhere.

Grasshopper inundation are not a,new thing. My father told me of an inundation of grasshoppers on the family farm in the first decade of the 1900s in Eastern Ontario. He said the geese were never so fat from eating grasshoppers. He also said that trains had problems stopping b/c the grasshoppers covered the tracks and acted like grease on the rails as they were squashed by the train wheels.

Tucson had a plague of grasshoppers in the fifties. The roads were slippery and there were lots of accidents.

Tucson has been and is a leftist hole.

I don't remember the specifics but a few years ago, I remember the weather people telling us that there was a swarm of grasshoppers that was so large that it could be seen from space.

Point it, this has happened before. It might be unusual but it has happened in the past too.

We have been here in Vegas for three days and the only place I saw a grasshopper was on my fly. And, someone else pointed it out to me.

So Las Vegas gets the Locust plague first. How many more plagues before Las Vegas gets hit with the big one?

It’s a cycle. Increase in grasshoppers here in Pacific NW also. Apple pear plum trees, blue berries all having a bumper crop this year.

Bring in the kitties. First sic ‘em on Baltimore’s rats and then Vegas’ grasshoppers.
