FairTube is a campaign to get more fairness and transparency for all YouTube Creators.
Our proposals
Publish all categories and decision criteria that affect monetization and views of videos
Give clear explanations for individual decisions — for example, if a video is demonetized, which parts of the video violated which criteria in the Advertiser-Friendly Content Guidelines?
Give YouTubers a human contact person who is qualified and authorized to explain decisions that have negative consequences for YouTubers (and fix them if they are mistaken)
Let YouTubers contest decisions that have negative consequences
Create an independent mediation board for resolving disputes (here the Ombuds Office of the Crowdsourcing Code of Conduct can offer relevant lessons)
Formal participation of YouTubers in important decisions, for example through a YouTuber Advisory Board

Many alternative media platforms have been getting shadow banned, de-monetized, de-platformed, or any number of liberal censorship of any alternate belief system.

IMHO, they do hit on some major issues which social media is bringing upon themselves. My only concern is the mechanism for bringing about the change. Regulation or union inspired influence?
One of their angles is to sue YouTube regarding “False Self-Employment.”

I am a little sorry, though, they chose to start such an incredibly important video off with an examination of CLOUD QUALITY, and how much “chem trails” there have been recently.

Simple, do not use youtube. Daily motion and others are available. Just stop using it, it will take hold; how hard is that?

Those other video platforms are of no concern to Google/YouTube. They're getting nothing but scraps, in the way of market share.
At the current rate, the lesser players will never catch up. Something must be done, as these gargantuan companies now control the vast bulk of humanity's communications.
It's unconscionable for them to wield such enormous power while engaging in the blatant censorship of just one side of the political divide.
It's the same reason people just don't move back to My Space that is already established. It's difficult to recreate the "magic" that established Youtube and FB. That's why Google bought Youtube rather than just start their own. Sorta like someone buying Burger King rather than opening up Joe's burger barn and hoping for the same effect.
The problem here is they are partnering up with commies (the IG Metall union). That never ends well.
