Sen. Amy Klobuchar’s presidential campaign launched in February on a snow-pelted stage in Minneapolis. It has since struggled to gain traction in a crowded 2020 field — and former vice president Joe Biden, who leads the polls, has a centrist pitch that overlaps with the Minnesota Democrat’s.

“He has chosen to go after four women,” Klobuchar said, referring to Omar and three of her freshman Democratic colleagues. “He has chosen to tell them they should ‘go home,’ basically, which is a racist code word.”
Klobuchar said Democrats must counter Trump but warned that they cannot be pulled into a political riptide in which they spend each day responding to him rather than making their own case to voters.
“Every day, it’s a trap,” she said. “Yes, you stand up [against racism], but you have to acknowledge that it’s a trap.”
While Klobuchar gave support to Omar amid Trump’s continued barbs, she said she would not commit to inviting Omar to speak at the 2020 Democratic National Convention, should she be the nominee.

Democrats aren’t used to having to defend their actions in any way at all, so it is hard for some to even comprehend, and a shock to the system of those who do.

I agree...well said. My hope is the R candidates realize this and take advantage of President Trump's leadership.
Here's what I would add:
It's a trap because President Trump is not afraid of being called a racist because he knows that he is not. He has a track record of doing great things for the black community, long before he became President and as President.
Also, he is 3 or 4 steps ahead of the competition. He knows what his response will be when they call him "racist."
Twitter is the great equalizer...President Trump doesn't need the MSM to get his message out.

Tommy Sotomauor was asking what is wrong with inner city black people, capable of throwing their own baby off a balcony on concrete without batting an eye but all of a sudden getting super upset when they hear a white person use the N word. I’ve got no proof but I said in the wake of 9/11 that in 5-10 years the Dems would align themselves with Islamists. Took a bit longer but it’s here.

First of all, it's two words. Secondly, how is that phrase racist but "Black Lives Matter" is not? Charging someone with "white privilege" or "white supremacy" is not? Giving preference to certain people based on their skin color is not?
