Once upon a time in America!
A flawed masterpiece.
Well, he did once shoplift a copy of “Rum Punch.” Got caught, too.
There are a couple of different versions out there, I think. A 3 hour(?) one and one cut down for American audiences. Either way, a fun period piece and James Woods
OK, I forgot about True Romance. That was good.
I love Inglorious Bastards. Great movie
He sold the script of “True Romance.” It was what financed his making “Reservior Dogs.”
“Hy!! You go get me a baby”
Hateful 8 was and is garbage.
“They got more than they can handle!”
Thanks
Exactly. A good movie maker could imply the gore without showing it. His stick is just a poor excuse to be sick.
Incredibly derivative you mean. His time working at the video store was well spent. Cribbed so much. Only QT movie I ever liked was Jackie Brown.
Jackie Brown is the only Tarantino I ever liked. And that was because of Pam Grier and Robert Forster.
Tarantino leftist, Trump-hating POS. I wouldnt go see one of his movies, which always star a whose who America-hating hating liberals, if it was free to get in.
Of course he lifts certain things. It’s hard to find a movie where that isn’t true. So his stuff is not perfect if there is such a thing. But his overall style is unique and original and set apart from the homogenized slop that’s out there.
I could watch the Tavern scene over and over again.
The funny thing is, I had a friend from Germany and when he saw Hickox order the three glasses, right away he said, “Oh, Schieße!”, LOL!
Although if you think about it, Hellstrom knew all along, he knew who Stiglitz was, and the book he was reading before he joined them at the table was about German Cinema, so he know Hickox’ story about the source of his accent was BS. But still, just a great scene to watch.
I have lost count how many times I’ve seen that movie, even with it being as long as it is.
To me, that is Tarantino’s masterpiece. There is no other director that could have made that movie. He is a unique talent, evil though he may be.
Ha. Is that photoshop
********
It’s not photoshop ...
Just saw it. Five word review: Cartman would love this movie.
Definitely God. I feel so blessed.
