Most of this 5G stuff is going to be of even shorter range, leaving vast areas in Fly Over Country even more unserved.

China cannot be allowed to own 5g. It’s more than just connection speed, a LOT more.

Not sure the author has the cred to comment on what’s going on or not going on with 5G.

This article says it’s already available in some cities in the US:
