We are closing on a house in the country this week and it’s the heart of deer tick country, so that is very useful information.
Red squirrels are dangerous (they like to nest in attics - which is dangerous to your wiring up there), but I understand that squirrels of all stripes are also nearly as tick-beneficial as opossums.
However, opossums appear to be the Gold Standard.
