Thr real secret of Area 51 is that they contaminated the ground with spillage of exotic fuels to the point that much of the land there would have to be dozed and carted off in trucks to a hazmat area. The EPA would have major cows.
Some years back, The Las Vegas Review Journal was running articles about workers out there who were dying of an unknown disease brought on by exposure to those chemicals. Doctors were raising Hell because they didn’t know what was causing the illness and the government would tell them nothing.
