My friend take a look at IQ levels across Europe and you will see Italians are at the top. There’s a reason they ruled the World, launched the Renaissance, Leonardo, Michelangelo, and now Salvini saving Western Civiliztion. Get back to me when Mexico does any of that.

My 100% Sicilian friend has blue eyes. My paternal grandfather from Naples had red hair. I had platinum blonde hair (gone now) have blue eyes but I’m only 3/4 Southern Italian. 1/4 Irish/English/scott. So my eye/hair is a legitimate mix.

Many Italians from Southern Italy and Sicily are “people of color” because they have significant numbers of African DNA as a result of various ethnic groups who have occupied Southern Italy and Sicily throughout history. For example, my wife, whose family immigrated from Napoli, recently found out, that she is not 50% Irish and 50% Italian as she had been told; rather, she is about 43% Irish, 40% Italian, 10% North African, 5% Greek, and 2% French.

Sicily has had 17 invasions over the last 3500 years. There’s bound to be some mixed races in that group. You want the truth 23 and me. It might shock you. You can be genetically from one area but culturally from another area. My genetic background is Italian,Western Asia and Northern Europe but my cultural background is hotdogs,apple pie and the New York football Giants.
Ruled the world? LOL Italy is NOT Rome. Not even mostly genetically.
I’d argue that IQ stuff. Good at art, as are French and Spanish, but much else? No, the most famous Italians are for anything with true useful “IQ” was banking. Something about Latinates - obsessed with art, but not much else.
